As the patient you will benefit from understanding how to prepare for surgery. You will receive pre-operative instructions from your surgical facility and surgeon prior to your operation. Your anesthesia provider will examine you prior to surgery and discuss your anesthetic with you. They will answer any question you may have concerning your anesthesia.
